With these pistachio white chocolate croissants, you can easily put something special on the table. The combination of crunchy pistachios and creamy white chocolate creates a delicious flavor and a festive look.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan oven).
  2. Finely chop the pistachios in a food processor. Scoop out about ¼ and set aside.
  3. Add the sugar to the remaining ¾ of the pistachios and mix briefly.
  4. Pop the can open according to the instructions on the packaging and roll out the croissant dough. Spread each croissant with a layer of mascarpone. Then sprinkle with the pistachio-sugar mixture.
  5. Roll up the croissants. Beat the egg and brush the croissants with it. Bake in the oven for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Slowly melt the white chocolate au bain-marie over low heat until melted.
  7. Remove the pistachio croissants from the oven and drizzle the white chocolate over them. Generously sprinkle with the remaining pistachios.
