Ingredients
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan oven).
- Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into small cubes. In a bowl, mix the apples with the raisins, a generous pinch of cinnamon sugar and the custard powder. Stir well to combine.
- Pop the can open and roll out the dough. Cut the dough along the dotted lines and fill the croissants with half of the apple pie mixture. Do not overfill, otherwise they will be difficult to roll up.
- Brush the croissants with the beaten egg.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15 minutes at 180 °C, until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, mix the remaining apple mixture with 1 tablespoon of water and gently heat it in a small saucepan so the apple pieces become glossy and soft.
- Remove the croissants from the oven and serve with powdered sugar and some extra warm apple pieces from the saucepan.
