Cinnamon pistachio twisters
This combination is truly delicious and a pleasure to make. Treat yourself and your loved ones with these yummy twisters, and we warn you, do not forget to save yourself a bite ’cause otherwise it will be gone soon!
Ingredients
- 1 can Danerolles Cinnamon Swirls
- 25 gram butter
- Peeled pistachios (70g)
- Seasalt flakes
Preparation method
Cinnamon pistachio twisters
- Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees.
- Roll out dough and cut in half vertically.
- Cut pistachio nuts in smaller pieces (tip: place nuts on a kitchen towel, fold it and smash with rolling pin).
- Mix cinnamon sugar with butter (tip: heat butter in microwave).
- Spread out cinnamon butter on one dough part and sprinkle with pistachio nuts and some sea salt flakes.
- Place upper dough part on top, press thoroughly and cut in 6 even pieces.
- Hold the left side between thumb and index finger and twist all the way to the right with your other hand. Make a loose knot and place on baking tray. Repeat this with all the other pieces.
- Bake golden brown in 15-18 minutes. Garnish with extra pistachio nuts and a little sea salt.
