Birthday Popsicles
Need inspiration for you kids birthday party treats? We’ve got you! How about croissant popsicles, the ideal birthday treat for at school. Decorate them with icing, sprinkles and more!
Ingredients
For 10 popsicles:
- 2 cans Danerolles Croissants Classic
- 5 tablespoons of (strawberry) jam
- Skewers
- 1 egg to brush
To decorate:
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
- Decorations (discodip, hearts..)
Preparation method
Birthday Popsicles
- Preheat the oven at 180C
- Roll out the dough and press the cutting lines together, so you get one large piece of dough
- Use a glass or cup to cut out 10 perfect circles or hearts
- Place baking paper on a baking tray
- Place half of the hearts on the baking tray, and place some jam on top of the hearts
- Place a skewer on top of each the hearts
- Take another plain heart and press this firmly on top. You may use a fork to press down the edges tightly
- Bake the croissant popsicles for 15-20min at 180 C
- Let the popsicles cool down before you decorate them
- In the meantime you can make the icing with powder sugar and a little bit of water
- Dip the hearts into the icing and pimp with the decorations of your choice
