Chocolate Christmastree

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Croissants Extra Large
  • 3 teaspoons chocolatepaste
  • 100gr fresh strawberries
  • Powdered sugar to garnish

Preparation method

Chocolate Christmastree
  1. Preheat the oven at 180C.
  2. Place some bakingpaper onto bakingtray.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut the dough into 3 rectangles.
  4. Place 2 rectangles onto the bottom of the bakingtray.
  5. Cut the 3rd rectangle diagonally and place these above the other piece of dough. You should now have created the shape of a Christmastree.
  6. Press the cuttinglines together.
  7. Spread the dough generously with the chocolate.
  8. Create the same christmastree with the remaining can and place this on top of the other one.
  9. Cut a stem from the dough and cut into the dough on the sides to create branches.
  10. Twist the branches and place them next to eachother.
  11. Create a peak from the remaining dough.
  12. Bake the Christmastree for 15-20min at 180C.
  13. Garnish with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar.
